Kameyama, Yuki Hare. Pilgrims Ascending Snow - Covered Hillside Toward Temple at Summit

A celebrated winter scene from the series Travellers, ascending over hill in the deep snow to the entrance of the Kameyama castle.

This scene is considered the second best from the series, this series of prints was issued in the 1960’s-1970's directed to the Western market, this can be recognised from the signature on the right lower corner in the frame.
